Introduction

Why Addon Repository​

The aim is to ensure a better Visual or Mixed addons deployment workflow. Securing the addons codebase, we can eventually do a review, and see changes in the codebase. This system should provide better control over the Visual Addons, make initial checks easier, and improve the communication between Shoptet and Partner developers. This system pairs with Shoptet Bender and Boilerplate, the tool focused on local development.

Features​

At this time (June 2023), the Addon Repository covers the following.

  • integration of our GitHub Action workflow for one-click (or push-triggered) deployment
  • inviting collaborators to the repository
  • pull request workflow, now the merge is requested from Shoptet
  • securing the main branch - notification about hotfixes, unauthorized merge
